is our great privilege and honour to invite you and your
colleagues to the TRANSCON 2008, 33rd Annual National
Conference of Indian Society of Blood Transfusion &
Immunohematology, to be convened by Department of
Transfusion Medicine, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute
of Medical Sciences, Lucknow (U.P.), India from December
5~7, 2008.The ISBTI Annual Conference is a great way for
friends and colleagues from the Blood Banking, Transfusion
Medicine and allied communities to get together and share
their knowledge.
The theme for the coming conference will be “footprints to
blueprints” which reflects the challenges and resistance
faced in transfusion practice when introducing new concepts
and ideas, but once implemented they leave a lasting effect.
To
pursue these objectives, we would once again be backed by
different talented committees to take care of the logistics
of the conference.
We
are very much looking forward to seeing you at Lucknow in
December 2008 to benefit from the resourceful scientific
program and to experience the historical culture as well as
